Koko Blaq Coiffeur

I highly recommend the girls at Koko Blaq Coiffeur. I have been going to the salon since it first opened (many, many years ago) and get incredible service every single time! The girls listen to what you want and provide you with great styling advice and suggestions throughout the process. They really look after your hair health and my hair has never been longer and stronger! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nothing annoys me more than people who give 1 star ratings without explaining why, which prompted me to write this review. The girls at KoKo Blaq are fantastic. It took me a long time to find another hair dresser after my previous one sold the salon. I've been coming here several years now and the customer service along with the quality of cut, colour etc are consistently excellent. The team clearly hold themselves to a high standard and they deliver.

So disappointed being charged $510 for balayage and leaving the salon with thin highlights. Upon enquiry of price I was told the expensive charge (well above what is advertised on website) was due to my hair being medium to long (my hair is just past my shoulders) they did not take any responsibility charging me for a service I clearly did not receive as my hair is not balayage, with my roots and ends the exact same colour. Triedto sort direct with the salon to no avail on multiple occasions to no avail. Feel ripped off and taken advantage of.*Interesting that the option to add photos has now been removed*

Great job with my glam wave style - loved it. A bit on the pricey side tho, considering I washed/dried my own hair before my appointment.Was very pleased to be fit in at a few hours notice.

Tina was my stylist and I had a great experience; she made me super comfortable, worked within my budget, ensured my tea was topped up and I walked out with a fantastic cut and colour. Very happy!

The staff here are wonderful! They took great care of my daughter's hair and made her feel like a princess (she's 6). Definitely recommend!

Overall it is a very expensive suburban salon. I tried them because my old hairdresser moved over east. My cut was fairly standard. Nice, but nothing special. I had baleage and my hair was over treated and burnt. The front part of my hair snapped in the salon. Disappointingly, the stylist, Natasha, didnt say anything and quickly hid" the evidence. I had very obvious broken hair in what was supposed to be a face frame. The salon itself was beautiful

Only called for quote and availability. Could have been a busy day. Heard lots of good things about this place. Hear they do nice glam waves. Will need to try. The price is more then my average spend on a blowout but will need to try one day.

I was lucky enough to have Chanel from Koko Blaq style our hair for my recent wedding. My hair was actually perfect and did.not.move! It was so so windy and my hair stayed perfect all day/night! Everyone commented on it and the bridesmaids hair was just incredible as well. Chanel was on time, amazing company all day and made everyone feel beautiful. I could not recommend her any higher! Thank you so so much again!
